Philosophy Statement

We have been asked what makes our trips special as opposed to other organizations. It is a good question and one whose answer is readily available. World Films and Travel was formed as a collaboration between two good friends who, like yourselves, love to dive and travel to some of the best and most exotic destinations around the world. Steve and Bruce found that they shared very similar philosophies and expectations as to how a trip should be planned and put together. Those views form our trip philosophy.

Our trips are lead by both Steve and Bruce (occasionally by only one) and they are completely responsible for taking care of all of the details so that you, our friends and guests, don't have to worry. We WILL NOT lead a trip that we have not already checked out in advance by going to the destination, researching the best time to go, and by staying at the lodges or camps and experiencing the service provided. We only lead groups to places that meet our standards for excellence. We want our personal trips to be special and to share those experiences with our friends and guests.

In summary, World Films and Travel does the research and the preparation for you. We are proud to have a strong ethical approach to our groups. We want the best trips for ourselves and we won't settle for anything less for our friends and guests.

Emergency Contact

On occasion Steve and Bruce will both be out of the country at the same time. If you have a true emergency and need to contact them, you may contact David Bower (e-mail) or page him at 1-865-631-7553 and he can contact Steve or Bruce. He does not work for us, but can get in contact with us. Please do not use this contact unless it is a real emergency.
