"We had been to Kenya before, but right away we recognized that the way it is seen makes a big difference. We would not go back and do it any other way than staying at Rekero and preferably have the trip planned by World Film and Travel. You guys are the best. The camp staff was somehow always there when we needed something, but were out of the way when we didn't. Being met with damp warm towels at the end of a game drive was such a nice touch. "he first time I went to Rekero, I went by myself. I was so impressed—I just had to return with my wife to share this incredible experience. When we stepped off the plane in the Mara, my previous guides were the first to welcome me back. The animal behavior was captivating; especially watching the mothers care for their young. Being fifteen feet away from three cheetahs kill and protect dinner from others simply cannot be described in words or film. It is just an amazing experience that you have to see for yourself. And while the animals were beyond belief, spending a week with the Masai guides and visiting their home villages and weekly market offers insight into a culture that we can all learn from. "Guys, thanks so much. I've done a lot of traveling and this trip had it all. Animals, people, culture and style. The Mara was incredible, more than I ever imagined! I knew we would watch the cats, but I had no idea 3 cheetahs would jump up on our car!!! It was fantastic. And Rekero, our camp, the quality of the hospitality, the extensive menus and ambiance. Dinner by candlelight was fabulous at the end of the day. After a trip like that, I don't think I'll ever be the same. It exceeded all my expectations! Big hugs and thanks again."
